About Us

We're Brenda and Tony Payne – a husband-and-wife team based in Southwick, West Sussex, creating handcrafted metal art from our little studio at the bottom of the garden.

With backgrounds in the building trade and design, we love transforming everyday materials into something unexpected. From quirky rusty garden wildlife and decorative garden art to laser-cut reclaimed saw blades, handcrafted clocks and unique gifts, every piece is designed and made by us with care, creativity and a touch of mischief.

Many of our creations are inspired by the wildlife, gardens and countryside around us. Others begin with an interesting reclaimed material waiting for a second chance. We enjoy seeing the potential in things that might otherwise be overlooked and turning them into beautiful, characterful pieces for homes and gardens.

Sustainability is an important part of what we do. We regularly use reclaimed materials, including vintage saw blades, old garden tools, timber from our tree-surgeon neighbour and even wood from our own kitchen renovation. Giving these materials a new purpose not only creates something unique but also helps reduce waste and tread a little more lightly on the planet.

Every piece is individually handcrafted, so no two are ever exactly alike. Some are one-of-a-kind, while others are made in small batches, but each is hand-finished with the same attention to detail and built to be enjoyed for years to come.

You can find our work in galleries, at selected exhibitions and artisan events, and soon on on this website.

Whether you're looking for the perfect gift, a statement piece for your home or garden, or simply something that makes you smile, we hope you'll enjoy exploring our collection as much as we enjoy creating it.

Thank you for visiting our little corner of the world.
